Gefangen im Paradies plot
Widow Anna and her son Max are on vacation at a luxury resort on a remote island. Anna wants to use the period to relax after the recent fatal accident of her husband Stefan, who is also Max's father. However, the beautiful holiday park also has a downside: the original inhabitants of the island live in hunger and poor conditions while the guests fully enjoy the prosperity. A situation that pirate leader Thiha no longer accepts. Thiha and his men raid the park and take the guests hostage. Only Anna and instructor Philipp manage to escape. Now it is up to them to seek help, but that is not easy on the island. The thought of her son Max in captivity makes her maternal feelings flare up.
