Breakaway plot

"The innocent and the damned. Beyond any help... and way beyond the law."

An accountant named Reginald is kidnapped at gunpoint by Joey, an escaped convict. They set off together in Reginald's car. Joey wants to visit his former girlfriend Marion. She is a singer in a touring country and western show. While the men are on their way, their relationship changes and Reginald begins acting more criminal than Joey.
