Bear with Me plot

"A friend in need is a bear indeed."

Eleven-year-old Emily is an environmental activist in training. She rescues and cares for an injured bear until it is strong enough to enter the forest again. When her sister goes into the woods to protest, Emily secretly follows her. But on the way she falls and is swept away by the river. Fortunately, an old friend is there to help her.
