The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber are two mythical weapons that, according to legend, reveal a mighty secret when brought together. The young orphan Wu Ji is the only person to know the location of the Dragon Saber, and he is quickly targeted by the Er Mei clan, due to his alleged associate with the "evil" Ming clan. The Er Mei are in possession of the Heaven Sword and together with other clans form a front in the fight against the Ming clan.
