December 31, 1999. The year 2000 is approaching and the world's security systems are on the brink of total collapse. The US government is taking precautions by backing up secret files on two drives. The loss of any of these files could be devastating to US national security. Ten years later, a cop investigates a series of murders that he believes are part of a serial murder. He soon realizes that these are not normal murders.
