The Rendezvous plot
"Treasure is where you find it."
When Rachel's brother, a modern day treasure hunter, dies under mysterious circumstances, Rachel decides to search the Middle East for clues that can tell her more about his death. Rachel meets Jake, an Arab-American government employee, and travels from Los Angeles to the desert of Jordan and the ancient city of Petra. But there her mission takes an unexpected turn when she and Jake are hunted by a group of Doomsday fanatics who call themselves the Armageddonites. They believe that Rachel and Jake are in possession of the missing Dead Sea Scroll, an artifact that could bring about the end of time. Rachel and Jake must now not only solve the murder of Rachel's brother, but also stay out of the hands of the fanatics, find the Dead Sea Scroll, and above all, learn to trust each other…
