The Punished plot

Wolfgang is a professional international mercenary. He is called to Redding, California by a wealthy benefactor to take revenge on a wealthy woman. After the assignment, in which he is injured, Wolfgang encounters an orphaned girl in a hospital who is about to die of a chronic illness. He decides to act as her father figure while continuing his work as a mercenary. When Wolfgang later also befriends a local guidebook, he is torn between his loyalty to violence for money and righting wrongs in the name of the innocent.
