The Midnight Express plot

"THE STORY OF A RAILROAD MAN WHO COULD NOT BE DETRACKED!"

Jack Oakes, the dissolute son of a railroad president, is disowned by his father. He then takes a job at the rail yards under an assumed name. However, Mary Travers still believes that Jack is made of the right stuff. He soon gets the chance to show it, when 'The Midnight Express' is on a collision course with a runaway freight train.
