The Incorporated plot

Professor Alan Freeling is working on a project that should represent a breakthrough in "energy use". Through businessman Robert Skotak, Freeling manages to make a deal with a secretive company that is deeply interested in Freeling's invention. What Freeling doesn't know, though, is that Skotak is basically working for the government, and is beginning to see Freeling more and more as a threat. It doesn't take long before the "arm of the law" is behind Freeling.
