The Ice Flood plot

Jack De Quincy, an American Oxford graduate, is still considered a useless womanizer by his father, who owns a gigantic timber company in the American Northwest. To prove that he is a man, his father sends him there to take charge of a large logging camp. The camp is filled only with muscular men who spend their time drinking, gambling and fighting when they are not chopping wood. But Jack must only really make a statement when the spring thaw causes an icebreak and a flood threatens.
