The Fighting Guardsman plot

"They made history and LOVE!"

During the French Revolution, Baron François de St.-Hermaine is 'Roland the Bandit'. Roland robs the richly laden carriages of King Louis XVI. Roland divides this wealth between the poor and the oppressed. Roland's mission becomes complicated when he falls in love with the French aristocrat Amelie de Montrevel. Her family is seen as 'enemy of the people'.
