Buddy Owen is a shy boy who would spend his life completely contentedly sleeping or reading, were it not for the fact that his father Karl is an annoying macho who likes to get his son to go hunting and have a drink together. Karl therefore organizes a hunting trip for Buddy with some friends of his, but once en route in a bar Buddy meets the waitress Fay and the sparks fly. But then Karl and his friends show their true nature.
