Sharyat plot

Every year, a traditional ox cart race takes place in a rural village. Dhananjay Rao has been winning the race for years, until Pratapsingh uses unsportsmanlike methods to make Dhananjay lose the race. He has an accident in which a few people are killed and the oxen are injured. Broken by the incident, Dhananjay migrates to the city. He returns after five years, but refuses to participate in the annual bullock cart race. However, circumstances force him to do it again.
