L'Appât plot

In Montreal, a French mobster of Italian descent is killed at a police station. Prudent Poirier, an inept cop, tried in vain to save him. Thinking Poirier can help solve the case, the French Secret Service sends elite agent Ventura to Montreal. Ventura will pose as a novice cop trained by Poirier. However, Ventura is disgusted by Poirier and that makes things a lot more complicated.
