Hostile Takedown plot

Nine years ago, ex-cop Alex experienced a tragic event from which he never recovered. Then Alex's partner, Dennis, is executed by a cold-blooded criminal. Tormented by guilt, Alex leaves the police force. But when a maddened killer occupies a local store where Alex happens to be present, he sees this as a second chance. When it becomes clear that the hostage-taker has some connection to the events of Dennis's death, Alex knows he must intervene. But will this be in the interest of justice or is it revenge?
