Hell or Tide Water plot

The story takes place in the near future and is told by Lt. Commander Allan Parker, a 40-year-old sea boy with a chip on his shoulder. The action revolves around Canada's controversial energy industry and their desire to bring a pipeline to Tidewater. This long cherished dream has come true but there is a problem; once the oil reaches the shores of British Columbia, it is transported not by traditional tanker but by giant submarines. Things get out of hand when a camera crew shows up to film an episode of “Humongous Boats” (a fictionalized version of the hit show Mighty Ships) and encounters more than just the standard giant ship overview they were hoping to film.
