A famous con man is arrested by Chinese agents. However, he is not tried for his crimes, but is forced to help them against the rule of the Japanese. An ancient Chinese relic that will serve as a symbol of the unification of East Asia has fallen into the wrong hands, up to the crook to steal it back and uphold Chinese honour.
