Everyday Black Man plot
After saying goodbye to a violent past, Moses Stanton (Henry Brown) runs a small convenience store. He also watches over his daughter Claire (Tessa Thompson), who knows nothing about his existence. Moses hires black Muslim Malik (Omari Hardwick). He soon finds out that Malik is nothing more than a drug dealer who wants to take over the neighborhood and is after his daughter. Moses has no choice but to return to his old life to protect his daughter and his beloved neighborhood.
