Talju plot

North Korean Sergeant Lim Kyu-nam is about to complete his required ten years of military service and be honored as a hero. However, he dreams of starting a new life in South Korea. To realize his dream, he must flee his homeland and cross the Korean Demilitarized Zone. During his flight, Kyu-nam is pursued by Lee Hyun-sang, an officer of the State Security Service. He does everything he can to catch the deserter.
