Defense Play plot

Scott witnesses a mini-helicopter explosion. He inquires with his father, but he does not let go. His father, Colonel Denton, is in charge of the SDI project. Scott meets Karen, the daughter of Professor Vandermeer, who is working with three students on the development of the "dart", a remote-controlled mini-helicopter. When the professor finds out the reason for the explosion, he is killed. Scott and Karen investigate. Their computer knowledge gives them access to a video disc with images of "dart memories". They also find out that one of the students is a Russian spy. His assignment is to sabotage the landing of the SDI using the stolen dart. Scott and Karen will do everything in their power to prevent this disaster.
