Dark Sunday plot

"It should have been a love story."

Reverend James Lowery is doing his good work on the fringe of society, trying to help young addicts get a better life. This to the anger of the local drug dealer, who sends his accomplices to the pastor. During a picnic of James with his whole family, they pass by with heavy artillery and not everyone survives. After recovering from four gunshot wounds, he decides to drink and gets to know the whore Julie.
