"The last day on earth. The one choice for survival."

The story takes place in a world ravaged by an apocalyptic flood. Most of the Earth is underwater, and danger lurks everywhere. In the midst of the chaos, we follow An Na, an AI researcher struggling to survive alongside other residents in a slowly sinking apartment building. Meanwhile, she's being followed by Hee Jo, a member of a specialized security unit tasked with rescuing people. But why is he specifically targeting An Na? Who is truly pulling the strings?

I don't understand the many bad reviews for this film. I thought it was a brilliant film, this disaster movie with a sci-fi twist. It was beautifully made, and while it might not always have been incredibly suspenseful, it held my attention immensely. I was also impressed by Kim Da-mi, and I'm usually not a huge fan of whining little children in films, but I thought little Kwon Eun-seong's performance was truly fantastic. He didn't make a single mistake.

It reminded me a bit of the movie Triangle (2009) from a distance. A great one for me, but apparently not for many...

What was I looking at?

You're certainly misled. But then it all becomes very boring.

Sort of like Inception and The Matrix. But this film wasn't all that captivating, needlessly complicated, and dragged on. The CGI and AI effects were nice.

I'll never get used to South Korean acting. They overact: the drama and emotion are dramatically exaggerated.

The camera work is also aimed at capturing all that emotion as best as possible: filming close to the skin.

I found it disappointing.

You can't call this a disaster movie. A few tidal waves and that was it. Also, the son was super annoying. Zero stars.
