Da Wu Sheng plot
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Qing dynasty decides to execute the entire Meng clan. Before he is beheaded, the clan leader makes it clear that his family will avenge his death. Erkui, a five-year-old boy of the clan, awaits his execution and sings an aria. The power and clarity of his voice touches opera star Master Yu and his seven-year-old student Guan Yilong, an orphan. The two rescue Erkui and the two boys become brothers.
