"Plenty of excitement when a private sleuth trails a diamond and a dame---but finds only one phoney!"
Phyllis Fowler scams a jeweler and takes off with the loot - a $17,000 diamond. A private detective, the police and the jeweler's criminal friends scramble to track down Phyllis and get the diamond. However, Phyllis won't let that happen and a wild chase begins.
