Chow Yun Wan is a young mobster who has managed to build an empire. He has a large following and is quite confident. But of course he is not the only gangster in Shanghai. Yu is in charge of the largest syndicate. But he is old and not as sharp as he used to be. In addition, his son, Chow Kai, is always causing trouble. When Chow Kai loses to Chow Yun Wan in a deck of cards, words are formed between the two. Things get out of hand and they get into a fight. When Chow Kai gets hit and then complains to his father, he doesn't know what to do with this situation.
