Besouro plot
In the jungles of Bahia in the 1920s. Rich, white landowners exploit black workers as slaves, even though general slavery had already been abolished. Master Alipio, who taught the art of 'capoeira' to Besouro, Dinora and Quero Quero, who knew each other from childhood. are brutally murdered on the orders of Colonel Venancio, the young plantation owner. The Colonel's attempt to stifle their rebellion has the opposite effect, and even from beyond the grave, Master Alipio urges his apprentice Besouro to fight for his people. Therefore, he escapes to the jungle to prepare for the exploits expected of him. There Besouro receives otherworldly powers that allow him to fly and make his body almost impenetrable...
