Alien Private Eye plot

Aliens long ago integrated into the human population to the point that they are physically indistinguishable except for their unique pointed ears. Lemro, a space alien, has found his calling on Earth as a private detective. One day, a beautiful and mysterious woman visits his office and tells him the story of a mysterious disc-shaped artifact that can destroy the human race. Lemro is initially unsure whether to take the case, but soon finds himself embroiled in an intergalactic drug smuggling ring bent on turning every human into a mindless junkie.
