Aadukalam plot
Pettaikaran and Rathnaswamy have been arch-rivals in the cockfighting world for nearly thirty years, but Pettaikaran almost always comes out on top. Frustrated, Rathnaswamy decides to use other means to outclass him. He kills Iyub, one of Pettaikaran's associates, after which a tournament is organized in his memory. Rathnaswamy's only condition is that the loser stops the cockfight for good.
