Wilde Maus plot
The long-established music critic Georg writes a successful column for the Wiener Zeitung. Georg believes that he should be treated kindly, because he is the king of his genre. But suddenly his time has come and he is fired by his boss as a result of austerity measures. However, he does not yet tell his wife Johanna about the recent event.

The film bears a certain resemblance to the French film "L'Emploi du Temps" starring Aurélien Recoing, in that it concerns a man who hides his dismissal from his wife.
However, this "Wild Maus" is much crazier. A black comedy that gets crazier and crazier the further it goes.
Josef Hader, who certainly deserves a remarkable performance here, was previously seen at work in "Arthur & Claire," with similarly "black comedy" accents. So, our Josef, now in the director's chair for the first time and also responsible for the script, continues to do his favorite thing. It makes for a quite enjoyable film, if you take the madness into account, of course.
