De Arm van Jezus plot

The film is about a miner in the thirties who leaves his family for a better future in the United States, but gets stuck in Rotterdam. Decades later, his son goes in search of traces of him, but he also gets entangled in Rotterdam. The story of two men in two times and their arrival in Rotterdam. Both are actually passing through, but the city holds them tight, like a swamp.
