The War I Knew plot

A group of British paratroopers are dropped behind enemy lines during D-Day and then discovered by the Germans. In the ensuing battle, the group is wiped out, only frightened soldier Johnny Barrows survives the drama. He is found by a trio of dysfunctional soldiers and together they manage to capture a manipulative SS man.
