La Ritournelle plot
Brigitte and Xavier are well off. Their farm is prosperous and their children have left home and live on their own. Xavier, a man of few words, spends most of his time tending the livestock. Brigitte hopes for something different, something more. To escape the daily grind, she decides to go to Paris alone for a weekend and it turns out that the French capital does indeed offer a lot of freedom and adventure.
