"When the dream becomes nightmare"

Everything Fredrik ever dreamed of is within his reach: he has a good job, he was surprised to win over Paula, a popular artist, and married her, they have two children and have just moved into an idyllic country house in the Swedish countryside. Fredrik can't believe his luck. But then one day a dirty little man stands in the hall and claims he lives under the stairs. Fredrik summons the man to leave, but he refuses. Slowly Fredrik's dream life turns into a nightmare.

A very special series but unexpectedly good. I can't really place the genre of horror. Psychological drama and thriller would be the better names. A well put together story with no real surprises or twists. It becomes clear somewhere in the third episode where things are going. Certain hints were visible from the first episode. Excellent cast and filmed in a suitable setting with an appropriate atmosphere.
