"Amy has a new dress that will take your breath away ...forever..."
An old piece of cloth that once belonged to the Aztecs ends up in the hands of a young woman. She decides to turn it into a dress, but when she puts it on for the first time, she finds herself under the spell of an ancient curse.

A somewhat bland horror thriller with ugly styling and a ridiculous concept, in which a red fabric causes chaos. Director Tobe Hooper has been particularly clever with the marketing of "I'm Dangerous Tonight," as the presences of Anthony Perkins and R. Lee Ermey are actually minimal. Fortunately, it moves along smoothly, and the bizarre premise is sometimes engaging, but the main problem is that everyone takes it so seriously. The film never becomes exciting or menacing, so why the filmmakers didn't capitalize on the necessary fun is a mystery to me. It results in a relatively entertaining, but not very memorable film.
