Hissein Habré, une Tragédie Tchadienne plot
Hissein Habré's reign of terror in Chad, which lasted from 1982 to 1990, was not only a Chadian, but also a global tragedy as Western countries—particularly the United States and France—supported the dictatorship with money and weapons. However, the pain was for the local residents. For all sorts of reasons, people disappeared in the torture prisons of the regime's secret police, the Documentation and Security Directorate (DDS). With the aim of recording the little-known testimonies, filmmaker Mahamat-Saleh Haroun travels with the president of the Association of the Victims of the Hissein Habré Regime to the victims.
