1944. The Russians drive the German Army back to Romania. Major Kurt Fleischer, war commander of an elite troop of German soldiers, is tasked with escorting a female scientist through a mysterious forest beyond enemy borders to retrieve an ancient relic. When his soldiers disappear in strange circumstances, Fleischer realizes that the scientist is a member of Himmler's occult department and that there is something in the forest more deadly than the Russians.
