Anna (Ellen Diedrich), a beautiful girl from a poor family, is offered a well-paid job as a nanny in London. Anna's fiancé, Georg (Lauritz Olsen), is skeptical and doesn't trust the case. Nevertheless, Anna decides to take the job and she leaves for London. Once there, she ends up in a brothel where she is held against her will by the brothel keeper (Ella la Cour). With the help of the maid, she manages to smuggle a message home. Georg decides to enlist the help of a detective and heads to London to rescue Anna...
