What a great movie this was. I had some low expectations due to the ratings, but I am very positively surprised.

Wonderfully dark atmosphere, black humor, mysterious mood and the necessary WTF moments that certainly charmed me, repeating "wtf" on the edge of my seat. I don't really like scares, so the lack of them didn't bother me at all. With the suggestive non-happy-end the picture was complete and I watched the credits come up on screen with great satisfaction.

I watch movies for fun and not for technical reasons, and this movie did everything just right to entertain me.

5*

Another one of the better Nederhorrors... and once a horror plan that has come true compared to the many titles that have been on the announcement list for 10 years.

I just have to say that the film is very predictable and you pretty much know how it goes, who has what in his mind and how it ends.... but that is somewhat compensated by strong twists and surprisingly good acting. Especially Gijs Scholten van Asschat deserves a medal here, but also Carine Crutzen. The tension can often be felt well and the madness among the campers is also well portrayed without it going in the soapy overacting direction.... and a few black humor moments of course.

And that ending... yes I saw it coming again.

It's a shame that the film has polished up a bit too many things from other horror films because otherwise everything is fine. Now even more original...

3.5*

Reasonable NL film, created a good atmosphere and despite you already know what's going to happen, I think the build-up is good! The coolest thing was to see how the characters change...

Only thing I missed was some more depth in the characters, some background information, at a certain point I was very irritated by Carine Crutzen's character towards Gijs Scholten van Aschat but also towards the children (little love). The moment she changed I thought it was great acting again!
