The Unspeakable Act plot
Jackie Kimball is a very normal 17 year old girl, except she is in love with her older brother Matthew. A one-sided love, because although Matthew loves her, he is not sexually interested in his sister. That causes problems when he goes to college and gets girlfriends. Jackie finds herself in crisis and then on a psychiatrist's couch, where she analyzes her romantic desires and inevitable coming of age. She also makes half-hearted attempts at relationships with boys other than her brother.
