I just watched The Great Flood without knowing anything about it, only saw small previews, and thought it wasn't bad, so I started it. What started as a disaster movie, which I also thought after seeing the previews and the title, became much more interesting after about an hour. First of all, it beautifully depicted how, after a meteorite strike on Antarctica, the Earth was ravaged by wave after wave of tsunami and heavy rain, with a mother and child trying to survive with the help of a security guard. As mentioned, after about an hour, it became even more interesting, as I was drawn into a sci-fi with countless simulations in a kind of matrix built by AI, where the mother had to find her son again and again.

Visually strong film with tight dialogue and very good acting.

Highly recommended!
