After his father's cremation, Gu Jie receives a call from a stranger. Jie's cremated father's ashes are stolen and Jie is faced with a simple choice: either he follows the mysterious caller's instructions, or Jie's father will never rest. This is how Jie ends up on a remote island, where his father's past is revealed to him.
