"From Fear To Freedom"

Portrait of the Russian writer and dissident Victor Erofeyev. He grew up a wealthy diplomat's son in the Soviet era, but turned against his own parentage and became a critic of the Russian state. He is one of the many critics of the Russian state, which prefers to silence him. Yet he calls himself 'the freest man in the world'. For decades he has openly criticized the Soviet Union and later Russia; those in power, but also the political sphere.
