Król Macius I plot

When the king dies, ten-year-old Macius must succeed him. However, the country is ruled by the Prime Minister and his cabinet and they plunge the country into war. Macius and his friend Felek escape the front and take part in the fighting. No one there knows that the brave little soldier is, in fact, the king of the land.

Film adaptation of the children's book by Janusz Korczak. The costumes and the set pieces are really great. Everything is possible in the fantasy world of children. The episode in Africa is rather stereotypical but that certainly shouldn't spoil the fun. Also for adults still quite amusing and a grand finale as it should be.
