Milos Forman is one of the most successful European film directors in Hollywood. His 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' and 'Amadeus' were awarded many Oscars, and other films were also distinguished: 'Hair', 'Ragtime', 'The People vs Larry Flynt', 'Man on the Moon'. Films about outsiders, such as he himself was an outsider in his native Czechoslovakia under the communist regime, and later in America as a European.
