Weekend of a Champion plot

In 1971, racing enthusiast Roman Polanski spends a weekend with World Champion Jackie Stewart in his bid to win the Monaco Grand Prix. Polanski was admitted to Stewart's intimate world, both on and off the track, for three days. The result is an extremely rare glimpse into the life of a gifted sportsman at the height of his career. Forty years later, Polanski and Stewart meet again. They discuss the sport both past and present from a unique and unparalleled perspective.
