La Fille du Chef plot
Eighteen years ago, Edmond Martin abandoned his wife and daughter. He thought he would try his luck in the United States and started his own restaurant there. Now he has lost everything and has returned to France where he lives on the streets and works as a cook in shelters for the homeless. One day, dressed in a new suit, he decides to go to the hotel where his daughter works. But on his arrival there is immediately a misunderstanding: he is believed to be a critic of a well-known tourist guide.
