The Phantom of Hollywood plot
Studio boss Roger Cross can make a ton of money ($9 million) when he sells the disused backlot (an area behind or next to a movie studio) to a bunch of real estate speculators. However, he is quite upset when a few corpses are found on the property. A figure is spotted whose face is obscured by an executioner's hood. However, the temptation for the money is so great that Roger Cross overcomes his fear and throws a stage-adorned farewell party. Everyone wears a legendary costume from the 'wardrobe' and, against their better judgement, braves the ghostly assailant.
