"A Kurdish western!"

After the fall of Saddam Hussein, Baran, a Kurdish independent war hero, decides to accept a position in a godforsaken village near the border of Iran and Turkey. The village is a Mecca of illegal trade. There he meets Govend, a beautiful young woman who has come to work as a teacher in the newly opened school, despite the opposition of her twelve brothers.
