Harry og Kammertjeneren plot
The story is set in Denmark in the late 1950s. Harry, an elderly worker, inherits some money and hires a butler to relieve his loneliness at home. The formal house servant finds it difficult to get used to the conviviality of his employer and his card club, but a relationship develops that lasts even when the money is gone.
