Lifted plot

"One small leap can move heaven and earth"

Thirteen-year-old Henry Matthews (Uriah Shelton) is an exceptionally talented R&B singer whose life is turned upside down after his marine father is sent back to Afghanistan. His mother loses their house and he is forced to live with his grandfather who hates his music. Despite all the obstacles, Henry wants to enter a singing competition in the hope that he wins and that he can escape his misery.
